Role Overview :
The Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the counseling process, understanding their learning needs, and providing suitable course recommendations. The role requires strong communication skills, along with the ability to drive conversions through effective counselling.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telephonic and online counselling sessions with prospective students.
- Understand candidates’ educational background, career goals, and recommend appropriate courses.
- Track and follow up on leads to convert inquiries into enrollments.
- Maintain detailed records of student interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide accurate information about courses, fees, schedules, and learning outcomes.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through a consultative approach.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth enrollment and onboarding processes.
- Meet weekly and monthly counselling and conversion targets.
Required Skills & Competencies
Mandatory : Fluency in any regional language , Hindi, and English.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to understand and address student queries with empathy.Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve targets.Good understanding of the Ed-Tech domain (preferred).Basic computer proficiency and experience with CRM tools.Preferred Background
Experience in Ed-Tech, Inside Sales, Tele sales, or Educational Counselling.Candidates with a proven track record of achieving sales / counselling targets.
