Role Description

The Senior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves managing and overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and managing tax-related activities. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with finance and operational teams to analyze financial data, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and oversee audits. This position also requires maintaining accurate records and ensuring the timely completion of fiscal responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Auditing
• Proficiency in Taxation, Compliance, and Regulatory Reporting
• Experience in Budgeting, Financial Analysis, and Forecasting
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and strong organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams
• Master's degree, Finance, or a related field (professional certifications such as CA or CPA are an advantage)
• Experience in the finance or investment sector is highly desirable
