Jumo is building a brand for creative personas — artists, designers, filmmakers, dancers, and everyone who expresses through motion. We’re looking for a Writer Intern who can independently craft short-form vertical content scripts that align with Jumo’s brand identity. This role demands clarity, speed, idea-generation, and the ability to collaborate closely with the scriptwriter.

What You’ll Do

Write short-form screenplays for vertical videos (15–45s) that fit Jumo’s tone, personality, and visual identity.

Generate fresh content ideas daily and develop them into executable concepts.

Work closely with the scriptwriter to refine story beats and structure.

Adapt ideas into tight, scroll-stopping scripts with strong hooks and clean payoffs.

Maintain consistency in brand voice across all written content.

Participate in brainstorms (online / offline) and contribute angles, punchlines, and narrative experiments.

Prepare clear script documents with beats, dialogues, and shot breakdowns when needed.

What You Bring

Strong command of short-form storytelling and pacing for vertical formats.

Ability to write crisp, engaging scripts that deliver a hook in the first 2–3 seconds.

Understanding of Jumo’s brand tone : creative, expressive, contemporary.

Curiosity and the ability to come up with multiple ideas quickly.

Basic understanding of visual storytelling and camera language.

Ownership mindset — you can take a brief and come back with finished scripts without hand-holding.

A portfolio or samples of short-form content or creative writing.

Bonus : experience writing for social content, reels, TikTok-style formats, or brand ads.
