Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant Master Data Management.

In this role you are responsible for driving the adoptions of data & process standards set by Global Data Council and Data Champions for that specific domain in the region. Their main interactions are with the data operations teams to provide guidance and clarify any issues that might be arising in the management of master data. They are also working very closely with their business stakeholders to help manage the master data. They will represent the domain in the regional stewardship forums as well as provide feedback to the Regional MDM Leadership to discuss with the data councils.

Key objectives of the role are steering operational capacity within the team and implementing standardized processes and data management best practices across the region in collaboration with peers in the MDM organization. The role will deliver against agreed service levels and data quality metrics drive process effectiveness and efficiency standardization and automation and thereby creating a competitive edge together with our business functions.

Responsibilities

The Domain Steward is the lead data steward for a specific domain (Product Customer Finance or Vendor) within a region / market. They are the persons responsible for driving the adoptions of data & process standards set by Global Data Council and Data Champions for that specific domain in the region. Their main interactions are with the data operations teams to provide guidance and clarify any issues that might be arising in the management of master data. They are also working very closely with their business stakeholders to help manage the master data. They will represent the domain in the regional stewardship forums as well as provide feedback to the Regional MDM Leadership to discuss with the data councils.

This role understands the overall governance objective set by the Data Councils and with guidance from the Regional MDM Leadership will adopt these objectives processes to the nuances of the domain in the region. This could be variations in the processes definition of data quality KPIs setup of roles etc. at the region level.

They are the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) at the region level for that Domain / Segment. They will act as the source of knowledge for the data operations team the business stakeholders for the region the regional data quality teams as well as the Regional MDM Leadership.

Their primary responsibility is to get the changes for MDM executed by the data operations team in a timely manner and with quality.

They are responsible for driving accuracy of the data within region / market working with Data Quality organization. They are responsible for setting the thresholds for the Global Data Quality KPIs for their region and domain / segment.

They are the primary interface for the business stakeholders on a day to day basis while working with the data operations team. They will also be part of the business discussions for important areas like New Product Introduction Reassignment of customer hierarchies / territories etc.

They are responsible for handling any immediate escalations and to expedite requests.

Qualifications We Seek in You!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

Has considerable experience in data management. Understands a specific domain (Product Customer Vendor Finance etc.) or a Segment (Product Petcare Product Confectionary) to be able to be the SME in that area.

Experienced and capable to implement complex yet efficient business processes data and workflows.

Candidate should have in-depth experience in managing teams that were executing data operations.

Ability to work with business stakeholders at Region / market level (should be able to discuss issues with data)

Demonstrated Leadership skills with proven management experience within a matrix organization
