The Role
We’re looking for a freelance SEO expert who can help Sweet expand its organic footprint, sharpen its search strategy, and turn our content ecosystem into a growth engine.
You’ll collaborate with our content and marketing teams to research, optimize, and measure everything that helps Sweet reach more creators looking to run their business the smart way.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute an SEO strategy tailored for Sweet’s creator-focused audience.
- Perform keyword research aligned with our product positioning and content pillars (AI for creators, automation, business clarity, proposal tools).
- Audit and optimize on-page elements (meta data, headings, structure, internal linking, etc.).
- Partner with the content team to guide SEO-driven blog planning and optimization.
- Build and manage a backlink strategy through partnerships, PR mentions, and guest posting.
- Track performance across target keywords, user intent categories, and traffic quality metrics.
- Provide actionable insights for ongoing refinement of content and site structure.
What You’ll Bring
4+ years of SEO experience, preferably in SaaS or startup environments.Proven success driving organic growth through technical and content SEO.Strong understanding of keyword intent, content clustering, and SEO analytics.Familiarity with AI tools, content automation, and the creator economy is a major plus.Experience using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and GA4.Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.Excellent communication and self-management skills — this is a fully remote, autonomous role.You’ll Fit Right In If You
