Job Title : Business Manager – Electricity Market Software Solutions & Services

Location : (Pune, Bangalore, Noida)

Experience : 10+ years in similar roles, with functional experience in electricity markets

We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead and grow our electricity market software solutions and services business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electricity power markets, regulatory policy provisions, regulatory compliance, market settlement mechanisms, bidding process, market behaviour and market risk, hedging techniques and evolving business models associated with energy transition and climate impact. The candidate will also have good experience in managing business operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring customer success in the energy and utilities domain.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Growth

Develop and execute business strategies for electricity market software solutions and services.

Identify new market opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, regulators, and technology partners.

Operational Management

Oversee end-to-end business operations, including project delivery, financial performance.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Client Engagement

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.

Drive customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Team Leadership

Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.

Mentor and develop team members to achieve business objectives.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in business management roles within the energy or electricity market domain.

At least 3–5 years of functional experience in electricity market operations, trading, market risk or related areas.

Strong understanding of electricity market structures, regulations, and software solutions, digital tools and technology.

Proven track record in business development and P&L management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
