Job description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by engaging in online bidding platforms and fostering client relationships. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, an understanding of IT services, and the ability to manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract closure.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in online bidding on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru to secure new projects.
  • Identify and qualify potential leads while building long-term relationships with clients.
  • Draft tailored business proposals and presentations to meet client needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via email, chat, and calls to understand project requirements and provide updates.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure accurate project estimations and timely delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4.5years of experience in online bidding and business development.
  • Strong understanding of online bidding platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is a plus.
