Job Summary
Varthana is looking for a Human Resource Business Partner who will be strengthening and building HR systems and processes to cater to the current and future talent requirements of the organization. The candidate will be designing, developing, and implementing policy awareness sessions and responding to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, etc. The incumbent will also be building a solid relationship with employees and ensuring that their requirements are fulfilled.
Key Role Deliverables
Employee Life Cycle :
Representing the full spectrum of Human Resources functions to the business and acting as the single point of contact for all their needs
Working with other HR sub-functions like Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Learning, HR Service Delivery, International HR, etc to evaluate proposed HR programs for viability
Linking HR with Business : Establishing and maintaining relationships with leaders, managers, and employees in order to drive the execution of HR programs such as :
Resource fulfillment and manpower planning of the zone
Productivity in respective business units, by closely monitoring the performance of the teams
Engaging employees through regular HR connect programs and effectively managing employee grievances
Pro-actively gathering business needs and communicating the same to HR sub-functions so that deliveries can be on time and of the best possible quality
Coaching managers on people issues and counseling employees on work-related issues
Analyzing business challenges of the zones and identifying improvement opportunities
Driving COE to business :
Driving the execution of the change management strategy that may be required from time to get support from business managers, which will help with the effective implementation of various HR policies and initiatives
Supporting in driving the Diversity and inclusion initiatives for the zone
Working closely with the HR leadership team to identify talent development opportunities and effectively roll out and manage the structured high-value initiatives in the areas of Individual Development planning, Career Progression and Development, and Capability Development
Employee Relations :
Building strong employee connections and proactively managing employee expectations
Managing employee relations by addressing grievances, queries, or other issues
Tracking, closing, and effectively communicating with employees, and doing predictive analysis of attrition and employee issues
Upholding Values and Culture : Acting asa custodian of culture, and effectively driving ethical behavior in teams to uphold company values
Preferred Profile
Minimum Education Qualification : Post-Graduation
3 - 5 years of experience in business HR / Employee Relations and Employee Engagement
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, Data Management, and Analytical Skills
Ability to work with peer groups, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
Effective employee and internal stakeholders’ management skills
Driven and confident enough to take the initiative to solve problems and achieve objectives in a dynamic environment
Influential communication skills in English and local languages
Self-motivated, passionate about the domain, eager to learn new things, and takes initiative & challenges
