Role Overview : The

Multimedia Specialist

will support IIT Bombay’s faculty in creating high-quality video lectures and course content for online and hybrid learning programs. The role involves hands-on

videography, video editing, and multimedia production

using

Adobe Creative Cloud (non-negotiable)

tools.

You will collaborate closely with

faculty, videographers, and instructional designers

to ensure visual and academic excellence in every course produced.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist faculty during course recording sessions; manage lighting, sound, and video setup.

Capture and edit instructional videos, interviews, and educational features.

Design animations, transitions, and motion graphics for learning modules.

Maintain production quality and consistency with IIT Bombay’s brand standards.

Coordinate with videographers and editors to deliver polished, publication-ready content.

Manage multimedia equipment and maintain a structured digital asset library.

Desired Experience / Skills :

At least 3 years’ hands-on experience

in videography, video editing, and multimedia content creation.

Strong proficiency in

Adobe CC Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)

is mandatory.

Experience working with

faculty, educators, or e-learning teams

preferred.

Good understanding of visual storytelling and camera techniques.
