We’re looking for a proactive and passionate HR Manager to help shape our culture, scale our team and build strong HR systems from the ground up.
Position Summary :
The HR Manager will play a key role in designing, implementing and managing all human resources functions from talent acquisition and performance management to employee engagement and compliance. You’ll be both strategic and hands-on supporting business growth while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities :
Compliance & Policy Development :
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and documentation aligned with legal requirements.
Manage employee records, attendance, and payroll coordination.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment regulations.
Maintain and update the employee handbook to reflect any legal or organizational changes.
Employee Relations :
Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to promote workplace culture and morale.
Provide guidance to employees and management on HR-related matters, including performance issues, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution.
Performance Management :
Oversee the performance appraisal process, helping managers set clear expectations and goals for employees.
Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans when necessary.
Provide training and coaching to management on effective feedback and performance evaluation techniques.
Learning & Development :
Identify training needs and work with managers to create employee development programs.
Organize training workshops, webinars and other learning opportunities for employees.
Support career development initiatives and promote internal mobility.
Compensation & Benefits :
Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including payroll, bonuses and health benefits.
Conduct salary benchmarking and make recommendations for competitive compensation packages.
Strategic HR & Leadership Support :
Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Support organizational structure, workforce planning and succession management.
Provide insights and analytics on HR metrics to inform decision-making.
Recruitment & Staffing :
Lead the end-to-end in-house recruitment process for all levels of roles, ensuring timely and effective hiring of top talent.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards and universities.
Create job descriptions, conduct interviews and coordinate hiring procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
5–8 years of HR experience (experience in a staffing, recruitment, or training firm preferred).
Strong understanding of full-cycle HR management and labor laws.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Hands-on experience with HR tools, ATS platforms, and MS Office / Google Workspace.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and wear multiple hats.
