Job descriptionSecondary : CBSE & ICSE (Grade 8–10) Middle School : Grade 5–7 Department : Geography / Social Science Deliver lessons as per the approved lesson plan, with relevant resources and learning activities Use effective pedagogical strategies tailored to diverse learning styles and student aptitudes Create a productive and emotionally safe learning space for every student Maintain classroom discipline as per school guidelines Encourage active participation and support positive study habits Ensure health, hygiene, and student well-being are monitored diligently Build an engaging learning space using boards, displays, and student interest areas Maintain a professional and positive relationship with parents and provide regular student feedback Maintain, compile, and safeguard school records with confidentiality Implement school policies actively and responsibly Attend all meetings with the Principal and Coordinators Conduct quarterly stock audits for teaching aids Participate in professional development, workshops, and academic events Support cross-department collaboration when required Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Coordinator / Principal Collaborate with Principal for academic planning and support Coordinate with co-teachers, staff, Admin, Finance, HR, and IT for school operations 2–6 years of relevant teaching experience (Geography / Social Science) Strong communication skills and a positive mindset Effective classroom management and student engagement Planning, organization, assessment, and coaching ability Team collaboration and cross-functional coordination Proficient in MS Office Experience with Geography resources, teaching aids, and modern learning practices
