Purpose of the role

The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and strong Lead Software Engineer for Software Engineering team with 12+ years of experience to lead, develop, manage the custom application development projects. Candidates should have strong ability to see the whole picture and to focus on the important details in a pragmatic and result oriented way. Should have experience development using Microsoft.Net tech stack (C#, ASP.net Core, .Net Core, API development, Blazor) and JavaScript based frameworks like ReactJS, Angular. Proven track record in designing and developing high quality, scalable and performant applications in alignment with organisation goals.

Key Accountabilities

• Mentor and guide junior software engineer team members.
• Help in hiring and grooming team members.
• Set goals and objectives for himself for achieving operational results.
• Plan, prioritize and execute development activities across the projects the role is involved in.
• Reviews project scope and requirements to determine the necessary level of work and to staff projects properly thereby taking care of resource management.
• Design, develop, maintain and support the application portfolios.
• Develop and increase team performance and collaboration across organizations.
