Position Overview :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant at BOB. He / She will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to accounting, bookkeeping, Bank reconciliation and preparation of MIS, other Adhoc requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, and accuracy in maintaining financial records.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliation activities.

Record and maintain all financial transactions accurately in accounting software (Tally / Zoho Books)

Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoice generation, follow-up on collections, and vendor payments.

Perform bank reconciliations regularly and ensure all financial records are up to date.

Prepare & file GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances in coordination with external consultants or auditors.

Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

Provide management with insights and financial summaries to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Skills and Qualifications :

Proficiency in accounting principles and financial reporting

Knowledge of tax regulations and advisory

Ability to analyze financial data and produce accurate reports

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

Proficient in using accounting software like tally, Zoho and MS Excel is a must

Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records

Strong organizational and time management skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant degree or certification in accounting or finance

Experience in a similar role is a plus

Experience in a start-up environment is desirable.
