Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications with a focus on performance and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA to deliver robust features.

Implement clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.

Work with modern Android architectures and ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and CI / CD practices.

Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth user experiences.

Contribute to technical discussions, propose innovative solutions, and take ownership of assigned modules.

Mandatory Skills (In-depth, Hands-on Expertise Required)

Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.

Strong command over Android SDK and application lifecycle management.

Advanced UI development using Jetpack Compose.

Deep understanding of MVVM architecture with hands-on experience in ViewModel, LiveData, and Flow.

Practical experience in Room Database for local persistence and Retrofit for API communication.

Strong knowledge of Coroutines for asynchronous and concurrent programming.

Experience working with Android Services (foreground, background) for continuous tasks.

Proficiency in Dagger / Dagger Hilt for dependency injection.

Strong implementation knowledge of Clean Architecture principles for scalable and maintainable codebases.

Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

1–2 years of hands-on professional experience in Android development (internship + full-time considered).

Strong portfolio of published apps or significant project contributions
