About the Role
Account Head - Acquisitions sells products to new customers and generates new business. The role identifies and generates new business opportunities and pursues leads that are provided against a focused target account list.
Main Responsibilities :
Focuses on lead qualification and closure for successful salesSells a subset of products or services directly or via partners to a customer base (provided target account list) in a designated team / squad.Involves specialists when needed for particular aspects of overall sales (e.g., SE for demo)Develops solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.Manages sales through forecasting, account resource requesting, account strategy, and planning.Participates in the development, presentation, and sales of a value proposition.Negotiates pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale.Maintains client relationships by collaborating with AMs, CSEs, or the Inside Sales team to sell and sustain account healthWorks closely with BDR teams to take over the leadAs required, cross-sells for existing accounts on complicated deals (e.g., renegotiation)Main Requirements :
Applicable experience, including solution sales (in certain situations, SaaS sales experience needed)Successful SAAS sales track record- commission earningsAbility to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts.knowledge and / or knowledge of competitors.Interaction with C-level players.Team player with strong interpersonal / communication skills.Excellent communication / negotiating / closing skills with prospects / customers.Bachelor degreeor equivalent
