Job Summary : Follow :

We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional with a strong background in the semiconductor industry and a focus on engineering services . The role involves identifying, pursuing, and managing opportunities in semiconductor design, product development, and manufacturing process engineering with global semiconductor OEMs, IDMs, and foundries.

This position requires a deep understanding of semiconductor product lifecycles , engineering outsourcing models , and the ability to translate technical capabilities into business partnerships across North America, and Europe .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for engineering design and consulting services within the semiconductor ecosystem .
  • Engage with semiconductor OEMs, IDMs, foundries, and fabless design houses to promote company capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define and present customized solutions in areas such as :
  • VLSI design, PCB design, and embedded systems
  • Semiconductor process and equipment engineering
  • Automation and control system integration
  • Product validation and reliability testing
  • Develop and deliver technical proposals, cost estimates, and presentations .
  • Build and manage relationships with procurement, R&D, and engineering decision-makers .
  • Track upcoming semiconductor fab expansions, R&D investments, and vendor qualification programs.
  • Drive the full business development cycle — from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Collaborate with internal leadership to develop regional growth strategies and partnership pipelines .

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Semiconductor Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–15 years of experience in business development or client acquisition in the semiconductor or electronics engineering services domain.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, equipment engineering, and product design lifecycles .
  • Familiarity with EDA tools, fab operations, cleanroom design, and equipment layout planning .
  • Proven experience in engineering services, design outsourcing, or technology consulting .
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
