Job Title : Desktop Support Engineer

Location : Dimapur, Nagaland, India

Experience : 1-3 years

Job Type : Contract to hire.

Notice Period : Immediate

Key Responsibilities : -

  • Candidate must be prepared for frequent travel to remote areas of mapped location branches as required by the project (Mandatory for Field Support profile).
  • Must be available Monday to Saturday (Mandatory for Field Support profile) with no holidays on Saturdays except of client site holidays.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding computer hardware, peripherals, Application, Networking, and others related to systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and connectivity issues for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals as well as applications issue also.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware components such as memory, hard drives, CPUs, Motherboard, Screen, and other peripherals as per actual requirements.
  • Conduct hardware repairs and replacements as needed, either on-site or through vendor support channels.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to troubleshoot complex hardware-related problems and identify root causes.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of desktop hardware based on project requirements.
  • Should be perform the endpoint compliance check and Physical Asset verification whenever required asper project assignment.
  • Candidate Must be able to troubleshoot connectivity issues related to Cat5 or Cat6 LAN cables, troubleshoot LAN cables, and perform LAN redressing in switch racks.
