Your Job

Molex, a global leader in innovative connectivity solutions, is seeking an experienced Signal Integrity Engineer with 5-8 years of expertise to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take ownership of signal integrity projects, drive the design and validation of high-speed interconnect solutions, and provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams. You will play a critical role in enhancing the performance of Molex's advanced product portfolio, including connectors, cable assemblies, backplanes, and optical interconnects, while addressing the challenges of next-generation applications in automotive, data centers, telecommunications, and industrial markets.

What You Will Do

• Lead signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis and simulation for Molex's high-speed interconnect products, including PCB-mounted connectors, cable systems, and optical modules.
• Develop advanced simulation models and methodologies for Molex products, ensuring high correlation between simulations and measurement data.
• Drive pre- and post-layout analysis for complex designs, optimizing electrical performance for parameters such as insertion loss, return loss, crosstalk, impedance, and channel compliance.
• Participate in new product development (NPD) cycles and help guide connector / PCB design from concept to production.
• Collaborate with global teams across design, mechanical, manufacturing, and customer-facing roles to deliver tailored interconnect solutions for high-speed applications such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR, and optical communication standards.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering skill development and ensuring project success.
• Conduct lab testing and validation using advanced equipment such as vector network analyzers (VNAs), time-domain reflectometers (TDRs), high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, and BERT testers to confirm compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SI / PI challenges in system-level designs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in Molex's products.
• Collaborate with customers to understand application-specific requirements, recommend solutions, and ensure seamless integration of Molex interconnect products into their systems.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and advancements in SI / PI practices to drive innovation in Molex's product development processes.
• Document and present findings, simulation results, and design guidelines to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
