Job Description for UNIX / Linux Engineers

• Maintaining servers using the RedHat Linux and or Solaris / AIX operating system
• Participate in an on-call rotation for UNIX / Linux support issues
• Advanced knowledge of HP-UX hardware, OS, and virtualization concepts Red hat Enterprise Linux is required for this position
• Manage and maintain Linux server infrastructure.
• Ensure system performance, availability, and security.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolve complex issues.
• Implement system enhancements and optimizations.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and system automation tools.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Linux systems.
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular system audits.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
