As a Business Analyst within the Commercial and Finance domain you will be a key enabler of data-driven decision-making. You will bridge the gap between business teams data engineering and data science ensuring that analytics initiatives translate into measurable business value. Your primary focus will be on leveraging the organizations data lake and analytics platforms to define analytical requirements validate data quality and deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering : Elicit document and validate functional requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Solution Design : Collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement effective IT solutions that support Supply Chain operations.

Documentation : Develop clear and comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) outlining business needs solution scope and measurable impact (e.g. ROI efficiency improvements).

Analytics & Visualization : Design test and enhance dashboards and visualizations (e.g. Power BI) that transform complex data into intuitive actionable insights.

Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications data models and technical designs.

Data Validation : Ensure the accuracy completeness and reliability of data sources and analytical outputs.

Communication & Reporting : Communicate project progress key findings risks and dependencies to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Project Support : Contribute to project planning prioritization and execution across analytics initiatives.

Education

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Business Analytics or a related field.

Experience

6-8 years demonstrated ability as business / data analyst in commercial and / or finance domain

Knowledge within financial domain highly preferred (e.g. budgeting forecasting P&L analysis pricing management)

Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing robust analytical solutions reports and dashboards.

Good ability to perform root-cause analysis on data discrepancies and translate business problems into testable hypotheses and analytical solutions.

Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques (e.g. SQL Python R Tableau Power BI MS Excel).

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to travel 10-20%
