Head of Operations

Role Overview

We are looking for an Operations Head – South Region ( Chennai & Bengaluru ) who can bring structure, precision, and passion to our project execution process. This role calls for someone who deeply understands lighting — from design language to site realities — and can lead an operations team to execute projects seamlessly, efficiently, and beautifully.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management :
• Lead and mentor a team of ~7 operations executives across multiple project sites.
• Inspire, educate, and guide the team to handle site-level operations independently.
• Build and strengthen the operations team by identifying and nurturing the right talent.
• Project Execution & Quality :
• Ensure every project follows Radical Illumination’s established SOPs and quality standards.
• Review and monitor projects from design stage to on-site execution, ensuring timelines and quality benchmarks are met.
• Plan alternate approaches (Plan B) proactively to prevent bottlenecks or delays.
• Lighting Knowledge & Application :
• Deep understanding of architectural and decorative lighting, materials, and fabrication methods.
• Ability to interpret lighting design drawings and intent, ensuring design fidelity during execution.
• Exposure to multiple international lighting brands and their product systems.
• Process & Efficiency :
• Track capacity planning, team efficiency, and process optimization.
• Drive initiatives to continuously improve operational workflows and execution precision.
• Ensure cost, quality, and time targets are aligned at all times.
• Collaboration :
• Coordinate closely with design, procurement, and project teams to maintain seamless execution.
• Communicate effectively with architects, designers, and vendors to ensure clarity at every stage.
