Quality Assurance Engineer

Education : Bachelor's Degree (CS / IT preferred)

Experience : 3-6 years

Technical Skills :

Experience in Virtualization / VDI / Cloud Services (preferred)

Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux OS

Understanding of Networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, Firewall, Ports)

Database knowledge and ability to execute basic SQL queries

Exposure to Identity Management systems (added advantage)

Roles and Responsibilities :

Test Planning & Design :

Analyse functional requirements, technical specifications, and use cases to design comprehensive test scenarios.

Create detailed test plans, test cases, checklists, and test data.

Manual Testing Execution

Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and system testing.

Execute testing across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, web UI, mobile, cloud, etc., based on your product).

Defect Management

Log defects with clear steps, environment details, and evidence (logs, screenshots, videos).

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

Quickly grasp complex systems, workflows, and architectural dependencies.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with development, product, DevOps, and automation teams.

Provide clear status updates, risk assessments, and coverage reports.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain high-quality test documentation for transparency and audit readiness.

Prepare test summary reports, execution results, defect metrics, and release sign-off notes.
