Fabrication Engineer

We are seeking a Fabrication Engineer with strong experience in pressure vessels ( (IBR, U-Stamp),

skids,

Heat Exchangers

and similar process equipment. The role involves supervising fabrication activities, ensuring code compliance, quality standards, and project specifications to achieve high-quality fabrication outcomes.

Key Responsibilities : -

• Collaborate with design / engineering teams to develop fabrication plans, Interpret and review fabrication drawings, welding maps, and material specifications.
• Ensure all fabrication activities adhere to relevant standards, including API, DNV, ABS, ISO certifications, compliance with ASME Section VIII, and other relevant codes.
• Conduct risk assessments, quality inspections, and non-destructive testing (NDT) to verify structural integrity, weld quality, and performance. Monitor fabrication processes including forming, rolling, fit-up, and welding.
• Optimize fabrication workflows for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability, utilizing fabrication tools like CNC machines and robotic welders and Troubleshoot welding issues such as distortion, cracking, and heat-affected zone concerns.
• Coordinate shop activities, fabrication sequences, and material requirements.
• Document processes, generate fabrication reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including ITPs, Job travelers, costing etc.
• Strong project management skills, with experience delivering fabricated components on time and within budget
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Ability to draw the Cost estimation / quotation for customer enquiries for fabrication activity.
