Senior Python Engineer

As a Senior Python Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of complex software solutions using Python. You will lead a team of developers providing technical guidance mentorship and ensuring the delivery of high-quality code. Youll also play a key role in integrating AWS services such as EC2 LightSails Lambda S3 and API Gateway into the application architecture to ensure reliability and performance. Additionally you’ll leverage AI-based tools like Claude WinSurf and other emerging technologies to streamline development processes and increase productivity.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Lead and mentor a team of Python developers to oversee the development and implementation of software solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate project requirements into technical specifications.

Conduct code reviews and ensure the delivery of high-quality code. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Interact with databases write SQL queries and use ORM libraries like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.

Debug and optimize performance to ensure scalability and reliability.

Manage version control and continuous integration processes.

Identify and address technical challenges and risks.

Participate in architectural and design discussions.

Use collaboration tools like Jira Trello or Asana for task management and progress tracking.

Collaborate with DevOps to implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Integrate AI-based coding tools like Claude (by Anthropic) WinSurf (for AI-assisted

software development) and other emerging technologies to optimize coding workflows

and enhance team productivity.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

5-7 years of experience in Python development.

Demonstrated experience in a leadership or managerial role.

Proficiency in web frameworks such as Django FastAPI Flask.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git).

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Claude WinSurf or similar.
