About the Role :
We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Senior Executive – Government Service Sales to support our expansion in the public sector domain. The role focuses on managing AMC renewals from existing government customers and identifying opportunities for cross-selling or upselling new products at those sites. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of government procurement processes, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to close service and product sales in the PSU / government ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
- Engage with existing government and PSU customers to secure AMC, renewals and ensure continuous service coverage .
- Identify and pitch new product opportunities based on installed base and site requirements at existing customer locations.
- Build strong relationships with procurement officials, engineers, and decision-makers in key government departments and local bodies.
- Share quotations, follow up for approvals, negotiate, and close AMC and product deals through appropriate government channels (direct, GeM, rate contracts, etc.).
- Monitor and respond to relevant tenders via GEM, CPPP, NIC, and other platforms where applicable.
- Coordinate with internal departments (service, operations, finance, and technical) to ensure smooth execution of signed contracts.
- Maintain and update sales tracking tools and ensure reporting accuracy on leads, proposals, and closures.
- Ensure complete compliance with public procurement norms, pricing structures, and documentation standards.
Key Requirements :
3–6 years of experience in government / PSU sales , preferably in services, AMCs, or technical productsSound understanding of AMC models and installed base managementFamiliarity with GEM and other government tendering portalsExcellent verbal and written communication, follow-up, and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple accounts and timelines in a structured mannerPreferred Qualifications :
Experience in cleantech, emission control, engineering services , or related B2B sectorsUnderstanding of public budgeting cycles, empanelment, and rate contract processesFluency in English and Hindi (regional languages a plus)Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
