Experience : 7+ years of experience in Database

What you will do :

• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify database system requirements and performance objectives.
• Schedule and coordinate database maintenance activities, including backups, upgrades, and patch deployments.
• Oversee and direct the implementation of database solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
• Design and implement database schemas, indexes, and query optimization strategies to maximize performance and scalability.
• Plan and execute database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and auditing, to protect sensitive financial data.
• Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning exercises to optimize database resource utilization and ensure scalability.
• Monitor and evaluate database system performance and health, proactively identifying and addressing issues to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Prepare training materials and conduct training sessions for junior DBAs and other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Mentor and guide junior DBAs, providing technical expertise and leadership to support their professional development.
