About the Role :

The Head of Customer Engineering is a pivotal leadership role responsible for our Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team. This team consists of highly skilled AI agent builders who are experts in prompt engineering, tool orchestration, multi-agent systems, APIs, and modern application deployment.

You are a 'player-coach' at heart—someone who can mentor a team of elite technical talent while also commanding a room of C-level executives. You will be the key technical bridge between our customers' most ambitious goals and our platform's capabilities. Your mission is to ensure customer success by building a scalable, world-class technical engagement model that delivers unparalleled value and drives adoption.

What You'll Do :

Team Leadership & Development :

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Develop career paths, provide continuous feedback, and foster a culture of technical excellence, customer-centricity, and innovation.
• Manage team resourcing and project allocation to ensure optimal customer engagement.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

Proven Leader : 2+ years of experience managing, mentoring, and scaling high-performing technical teams (e.g., Customer Engineering, Solutions / Sales Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, or Professional Services).

Customer-Facing Expert : 5+ years of experience in a senior, customer-facing technical role. You have a proven ability to build trust and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, from developers to C-level executives.

Hands-on Generative AI Expert : Demonstrable, deep experience with the modern AI stack. You must be able to :
