Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned Sales professional with strong international exposure in steel scrap selling across different geographies. The ideal candidate must possess deep market knowledge, strong industry connections, and a proven track record in high-volume scrap sales.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for steel scrap.
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships with buyers.
- Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and closing of deals.
- Track market trends, competitor movements, and price fluctuations.
- Coordinate logistics, shipments, and all related documentation.
- Maintain strong relationships with steel mills and key stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and environmental norms.
- Collaborate with internal teams for invoicing, payments, and contract management.
Required Skills & Experience :
10+ years of experience in sales / marketing of steel scrap or metal scrap.Strong understanding of pricing, global markets, and steel mills.Proven experience managing high-volume scrap transactions.Result-oriented with track record.Strong product knowledge and domain expertise.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to work independently and deliver strong business results.Strong analytical skills and understanding of market dynamics.Fluency in Bengali (mandatory) and proficiency in English.Education :
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Additional Requirements :
Willingness to relocate and travel extensively.Strong network among industrial buyers in SAARC countries.
