Snowflake DBT Developer

LOCATION - Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi , Bhubaneswar

EXPERIENCE - 6 to 8 yrs ONLY

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement scalable data models in Snowflake using DBT.

Develop and maintain DBT models, tests, documentation, and deployment pipelines.

Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

Optimize SQL queries and transformation logic for performance and maintainability.

Ensure data quality and integrity through testing and validation frameworks.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Experience :

4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT .

Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques (star / snowflake schema).

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI / CD pipelines.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Understanding of ELT vs ETL paradigms and modern data stack tools.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
