Detailed Job Description

The Data Engineer – BI (Tableau Developer) will design, develop, and maintain robust business intelligence solutions, delivering actionable insights through Tableau dashboards and reports. The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with multiple databases, and the ability to translate business requirements into meaningful visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop impactful Tableau dashboards and visualizations to meet business requirements.
• Write optimized SQL queries, including joins, CTEs, window functions, and custom SQL, to extract required data from multiple sources.
• Work with multiple databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Teradata) to create blended datasets in Tableau.
• Troubleshoot and debug data issues, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in dashboards.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into workable data models and visualizations.
• Maintain, update, and enhance existing Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Adhere to BI best practices for data modeling, visualization, and performance optimization.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, willingness to learn new technologies, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
