Job description. Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering their growth and development . Implement and manage performance evaluation processes, setting clear objectives and providing regular feedback . Collaborate with HR to address employee relations issues, implement HR policies, and ensure compliance . Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain a positive team culture . Manage resource allocation, workforce planning, and talent acquisition for the IT team . Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge . Align team goals with organizational objectives and IT strategies . Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments . Manage change within the team, supporting adaptability and resilience . Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards . Strong leadership and people management skills . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills . Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members . Proficiency in performance management and goal-setting techniques . Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities . Conflict resolution and negotiation skills . Understanding of HR practices and employment laws . As an IT Supervisor focused on People Management at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will lead and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your role will be crucial in aligning team performance with organizational goals, driving employee engagement, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services that support our mission.
Education / Experience :
- . Total experience of 6+ years with 0-2 years of experience in leadership and people management, preferably in an IT environment.
- . Bachelor's degree in Fields of Study : Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field with a focus on management
- . Demonstrated experience in team leadership, performance management, and talent development
