Principal QA Engineer (Cypress)

We are seeking a Principal QA Engineer to join our agile development team and take ownership of delivering high-quality software through advanced testing strategies. This is a hands-on IC role where you will design and implement automation frameworks, execute complex test plans, and drive an AI-first approach to quality assurance.

What You’ll Do

Lead Testing Initiatives : Design, develop, and maintain robust testing strategies and automation platforms.

Hands-On Execution : Author and execute functional test cases and automation scripts for complex features.

Automation Expertise : Define and implement automation strategies, protocols, and frameworks.

Performance & Accessibility : Conduct performance testing and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

Continuous Improvement : Recommend architectural improvements for scalability and reliability of testing methodologies.

Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure sprint commitments are met.

AI-Driven QA : Leverage AI agents to automate test execution and reduce reliance on traditional scripts.

What We’re Looking For

Experience : 8–13 years overall in Software Testing.

6+ years in Automation Testing .

3+ years hands-on experience with Cypress and TypeScript for UI automation.

Performance testing with K6

API testing using Postman

Accessibility tools like Wave and AudioEye

DevOps Knowledge : Experience with CI / CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.

Soft Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Future-Ready Mindset : Ability to leverage AI agents for automated testing.
