Networking Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Networking Engineer to manage maintain and optimize our network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of network systems routers switches firewalls and network security principles.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation high performance and reliability of the companys IT network and connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

Install configure and maintain routers switches firewalls and other networking equipment.

Monitor network performance and ensure continuous uptime and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve LAN / WAN VPN and internet connectivity issues.

Manage and maintain wireless networks and IP-based systems.

Configure and monitor firewall and antivirus systems to protect network integrity.

Implement and maintain network policies procedures and documentation.

Support IT teams in system upgrades patch management and network optimization.

Coordinate with internet service providers (ISP) and vendors for network-related issues.

Assist in planning and implementing new network solutions or improvements.

Maintain asset inventory cabling layout and backup systems.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of LAN WAN VLAN DHCP DNS and VPN .

Knowledge of Cisco Mikrotik Juniper or Fortinet devices preferred.

Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g. Wireshark PRTG Nagios).

Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting and configuration .

Basic understanding of network security and firewall management .

Good communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / in Computer Science IT Electronics or related field .

Certifications like CCNA / CCNP / CompTIA Network will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

Experience in network administration IT infrastructure or technical support.

Exposure to data center environments or enterprise networks preferred.

Freshers with good technical knowledge and learning attitude are welcome.
