Job Description

This role is for supporting all Manhattan applications(WMS and TLM) and also supporting their servers and related external interfaces.

1. Person should be familiar with basic shell commands. This involves start / stop any servers and copying logs and deployment files on various directories.

2. Need to provide support for all WMS and TLM app related issues. It involves doing Primary analysis of all Incidents and then forwarding it to next level or other team for further analysis.

Next Level team is CSO team (provided by Manhattan the company which develops application) and they handle all cases which needs detailed analysis.

3. Handling SRT calls and co-ordination with multiple teams to resolve the issue. It involves issue arising due to error with other systems such as SAP / DB. Person has to co-ordinate with them to get the issue resolved ASAP.

4. Handling Alerts and Incidents related to data processing errors and application health (storage / server issues). Person has to monitor disc storage space as well on all servers.

5. Person should be able to deploy build on Dev environments for all Changes provided by Build Team, there are tools available for this purpose.

6. Need to support with weekly restart of applications. This activity is distributed on rotation basis between team members.

7. Person should be able to do basic analysis of error message and their possible scenarios in PDP (.Net 3.5 application).

8. Should be able to handle all requests for Query execution from CSO Team to correct any data issue. Change control process needs to be completed for such requests.

9. Need to support testing activities by helping with any access / server issues or co-ordination with CSO Team to resolve all testing roadblocks.
