Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic lead Oracle Database Administrator with a strong leadership presence and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Oracle technologies, performance tuning( application and database), and modern data ecosystems, along with a forward-looking mindset toward AI and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, implementation, administration of Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC), RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate environments.
• Drive performance tuning initiatives across databases and applications, ensuring optimal system performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL, PL / SQL, and Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and data processing.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in databases, data warehousing, and AI-driven data management.
• Provide strategic input on Big Data architecture, including both RDBMS and NoSQL technologies.
• Expert and hands on experience on cloud platforms ( AWS, GCP, OCI)
• Mentor junior DBAs and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and ethical excellence.
• Work on 24 / 7 Shift and handle all S1 issues by collaborating with vendor partners and internal teams. Perform RCA and make sure the patterns are identified and fixed.
• Implement new processes and standards to bring operational stability and have optimized design.
• Deliver projects under tight timelines and with limited resources.
• Holds deep internal knowledge of Oracle and ability to diagnose issues quickly.
