The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day smooth operation of the laundry operation in the housekeeping department. They must collaborate with fellow Housekeeping Attendants and Houseperson to ensure seamless service delivery
- Dedicated to the overall performance of our housekeeping team
- Sort count and record linen inclusive of bed linen robes fitness gear guest and staff laundry to send out for processing
- Separate categorize and prepare white towel linens for washing drying and folding
- Operating laundry equipment-Use machines dryers and or folding machines to clean and process linens
- Maintaining Inventory- Monitor and maintain stock levels of linens towels and chemicals used.
- Quality Control- Inspect linens for stains tears and other damage and report any issues.
- Cleaning & Maintenance- Keep the laundry area clean and organized and organize routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Report any challenges associated with the laundry directly to your Supervisor / Manager
- Treat-stained linen on a weekly basis and place back into operation
- Conduct linen stock take quarterly and submit to Asst Executive Housekeeper or Executive Housekeeper.
- Assist with all other duties as assigned
