Manager - Business Development Generate, evaluate, and lead techno-commercial proposals, including financial modeling, commercial negotiation, and contract closure.
- Engage with government bodies, port authorities, and association forums (e. IPA, CII, FICCI) for regulatory alignment and industry positioning.
- Prepare and deliver techno-commercial proposals, contract negotiations, financial modeling, and risk assessment for prospective clients.
- Evaluate and submit RFQs and RFPs for various port projects of major ports and non-major ports.
- Evaluate and submit bids for various logistics project like MMLPs.
- Evaluate various mergers and acquisition opportunities across port sector.
- Evaluate various mergers and acquisition opportunities in logistics sector like ICD, CFS, MMLP etc.
- Perform Pre construction activities for various expansion projects or projects awarded to the company.
- Conduct market research, competitor intelligence, and sizing of opportunities by cargo segment (coal and containers) to inform business strategy and product positioning.
- Assess port infrastructure development for various planned manufacturing facilities of Essar.
- Develop and implement strategic business growth initiatives to drive profitability within the ports division.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
- Contribute to annual business plan development, budgets, and forecasting.
