Team Member - EHS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. To do safety patrolling in the Plant and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. Stop, Correct and Proceed to be followed in case of any Unsafe Act and bring it to the notice of the Department’s shift incharge. Safety Violations to be highlighted to respective Department Shift Incharge to issue violation challans. 2. Any unsafe condition observed to be brought to the notice of the shift incharge of the Department and the respective EHS incharge of the Department and capture the same as TF5 (Unsafe conditions) in MDH. 3. To conduct one SMAT and one KPS every month as per schedule. 4. To observe the PPE compliance in all the departments while doing safety patrolling in the Plant. 5. To audit the closure status of TF5 (Unsafe conditions) including SIP TF5 (Unsafe conditions), SMAT and EvEx of all the functions in the shopfloor, prepare the report and circulate to all concerned. 6. If any TF4 (Near Miss Incident) is reported by the concerned department, investigate and send the details to the respective EHS Incharge of the department. 7. To support in issuing work permits where EHS team’s authorization is required & Observe the activities where work permits have been issued for compliance to the work permit requirements. 8. To provide support in conducting the monthly safety theme-based activities in the shopfloor. 9. To check awareness of the incidents (occurring within the Dept / Function or in other Depts / Functions / Plants / Businesses) with the members of all the Depts / Functions. 10. To audit the CCTV footages to identify the unsafe acts and unsafe conditions in the shop floor, prepare a report and circulate to all concerned. 11. To inspect the portable electrical equipment every month and provide the declared monthly code tag / sticker for the equipment found in good condition.

C. EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : M.E. Industrial Safety Engineering (FULL TIME ONLY) MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : 4 Years Minimum NATURE OF EXPERIENCE - Experience of working in continuous process industry. Knowledge in Industrial Safety, 5S, ISO Systems. Developed and implemented EHS programs to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance. Conducted risk assessments, delivered training, and managed incident investigations to foster a safe and sustainable work. Exposure to 5S, WCM based improvement techniques and tools.
