About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Batch House Operator to join our glass manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and controlling the raw material batches used in glass production. This role is crucial for maintaining the consistency, quality, and efficiency of the furnace feed operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate and monitor batch house equipment including conveyors, mixers, and weighing systems.

Ensure accurate weighing and mixing of raw materials (silica sand, soda ash, limestone, cullet, etc.) as per production specifications.

Maintain proper inventory records of raw materials and cullet.

Conduct routine equipment checks, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.

Collaborate with the production and furnace teams to ensure uninterrupted batch supply.

Monitor and record batch quality parameters, ensuring compliance with process standards.

Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Qualifications & Skills :

Diploma / ITI in Chemical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering (preferred).

1–3 years of experience in a glass, ceramic, or related manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of weighing systems, PLC controls, and material handling equipment.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality & safety.
