FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE

Strong understanding of strategic sourcing process

Review spend data and identify opportunities sourcing as requested by customer

Perform market research on supplier capabilities, category trends & price benchmarking and present insights to stakeholders

Possess knowledge and experience across Indirect and Direct categories. Expertise in a particular category will be preferred

Support stakeholders in developing sourcing pipeline

Develop category strategies under guidance of category manager

Prepare sourcing project specific plans on MS-Excel, MS-Projects or other similar tools

Co-ordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements for sourcing execution

Independently perform sourcing activities like requirement gathering, setting up RFP & Auctions in various procurement tools, co-ordination with suppliers, supplier proposal comparative statements

Guide stakeholders on auction strategies if required

Negotiate with suppliers for low value purchases

Meet various performance targets agreed with customers like savings, on-time execution, accuracy, etc

Perform contract drafting activities based on templates

Perform SRM activities like supplier financial ratings, supplier profiling, evaluations, SWOT analysis, segmentation, etc

Create reports & dashboards for procurement leadership
