We are inspired by and associated with World Resources Institute (WRI), a global research organization. Currently over 250 researchers are working with WRI India in our offices at Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Program Overview for Sustainable Cities and Transport

Job Highlight

The Program Communications Associate will work closely with WRI India’s Urban Development team. This role entails developing strategic communication products to convey the impact of WRI India’s work across cities on urban water and climate resilience. The ideal candidate should have experience in creating engaging social media content and must have design and video editing skills along with excellent skills in English writing, editing, and proofing. Knowledge of Kannada is preferred.

What you will do :

Digital Media Content Creation (40%)

• Develop communication material suited for different formats (like short video snippets, graphics, reels) for different WRI India channels – WhatsApp, Instagram, , etc, YouTube.
• Leverage existing products (like research reports, decks, blogs) and identify key messages to develop strategic social media messaging.
• Maintain and execute a social media outreach calendar.
• Identify opportunities to develop new content (like writing a article to highlight a milestone or creating an attractive post based on a new publication release).
• Develop a digital communication plan for project outreach, showcasing milestones and impact creation of the entire ecosystem (spotlighting external partners and champions)

Other Content Creation (30%)

What you will need :

Salary and Benefits : INR 9,50,000 to 12,50,000 CTC

Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI India offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.

Duration : 6 months (extendable based on performance)

Location : Bangalore
