Role Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Biologist to join our growing Research and Development Team. The Biologist will contribute to the discovery and development of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs), and biomarkers to support preclinical and translational research programs. The role involves hands-on laboratory work, data analysis, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in molecular biology, biochemistry, and pharmacology
Key Responsibilities
Monoclonal Antibody (mAb) Development :
Design, generate, and screen antibodies using hybridoma or recombinant expression technologies.
Identify and validate antigen targets for therapeutic antibody generation.
Characterize antibodies for specificity, affinity, and stability using biochemical and biophysical assays (ELISA, SPR, flow cytometry, etc.).
Express and purify antibodies from mammalian systems and evaluate functional activity in vitro.
Antibody–Drug Conjugate (ADC) Development
Perform conjugation of antibodies with cytotoxic payloads using optimized linker technologies.
Characterize ADCs for drug–antibody ratio (DAR), stability, and potency through analytical and functional assays.
Conduct in vitro efficacy and toxicity studies to evaluate ADC performance.
Collaborate with process development and CMC teams for scale-up and optimization.
Biomarker Discovery and Development
Identify and validate predictive, pharmacodynamic, or diagnostic biomarkers through omics-based approaches.
Develop and validate biomarker assays (ELISA, qPCR, IHC, multiplex platforms) for preclinical and clinical studies.
Analyze biological samples to correlate biomarker expression with therapeutic response.
Contribute to translational research strategies supporting patient stratification.
General Responsibilities
Maintain accurate experimental documentation and prepare technical reports or presentations.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including chemistry, pharmacology, and bioinformatics.
Ensure compliance with GLP / GMP, biosafety, and ethical standards.
Stay current with emerging trends in antibody engineering, ADC technology, and biomarker discovery.
Qualifications & Experience
Education : M.Sc. / M.Tech / Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related life science discipline.
Experience : 1–5 years of relevant experience in antibody or ADC research (academic or industry).
Skills :
Strong hands-on experience in molecular cloning, protein expression, purification, and assay development.
Familiarity with analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS) and cell-based functional assays.
Excellent data interpretation, communication, and teamwork skills.
What We Offer
Opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, innovation-driven pharma organization
Collaborative, research-focused work culture
Exposure to end-to-end drug development and cutting-edge technologies
