Job Description – Design Architect (Metro Rail Projects)

Location : Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

Role Overview

We are seeking a design architect with proven expertise in Metro Rail projects to join our team in Bhopal. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, creative problem-solving, and hands-on experience in designing large-scale infrastructure projects. This role involves working closely with engineering, planning, and project management teams to deliver innovative, sustainable, and compliant architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead architectural design and detailing for Metro Rail stations, depots, and associated infrastructure .

Collaborate with structural, MEP, and civil engineering teams to ensure integrated design solutions.

Prepare conceptual layouts, schematic designs, and detailed drawings in compliance with metro rail standards and codes.

Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and design reviews to align with project requirements.

Ensure adherence to safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards in all designs.

Coordinate with government authorities, consultants, and contractors for approvals and execution.

Provide design inputs during tendering, construction, and commissioning phases .

Stay updated with latest technologies, materials, and design practices in urban transport infrastructure.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education : Bachelor’s / Master’s in Architecture from a recognized institution.

Experience : Minimum 10 years and 5 years in Metro Rail / Urban Transport

Strong knowledge of Indian Building Codes, NBC, Metro Rail standards, and safety regulations .

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, SketchUp, and MS Office .

Excellent visualization, detailing, and presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver within timelines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
