Assistant Manager Fund Accounting

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager – Fund Accounting to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting, strong technical knowledge of investment products, and proven leadership capabilities. This role is critical in ensuring accurate fund operations, regulatory compliance, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Leadership & Team Management : Lead, mentor, and support a team of fund accountants to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous professional development.
• Fund Accounting Oversight : Oversee day-to-day fund accounting activities, including Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Financial Reporting : Review and approve fund financial statements, investor reports, and audit packages in accordance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS).
• Process Optimization : Design and implement robust processes and internal controls to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Performance Monitoring : Analyze fund performance, financial trends, and variances; provide actionable insights to management.
• Cross-Functional Coordination : Collaborate with internal teams such as investment management, legal, compliance, and external auditors.
• Regulatory Compliance : Stay informed about industry regulations and accounting changes; ensure compliance across fund operations.
