Databricks- SAS skill engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Code Interpretation : Read, understand, and interpret SAS code to relay functional logic to Databricks developers.
• Code Conversion : Perform end-to-end SAS-to-Python / PySpark code conversion for Databricks implementation.
• Technical Guidance : Provide Databricks platform guidance and best practices to the team during the conversion process.
• Communication Facilitation : Act as a liaison between SAS team members and Databricks developers to ensure smooth collaboration.
• SAS Support : Offer SAS expertise to the team responsible for monitoring and supporting existing SAS jobs.
• Cross-Skilling : Utilize strong SAS and PySpark skills to support both legacy workloads and modern platform development.
