Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable high-performance data solutions on Amazon Redshift . This role is central to enabling scalable analytics robust data pipelines and secure data access across Commercial Financial and HR domains. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with modern data platforms and engineering tools and will collaborate closely with BI developers data scientists and business stakeholders to ensure data is clean accessible and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines using ETL / ELT frameworks to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Design and maintain data lakehouse and warehouse architectures across cloud and hybrid environments (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
• Define and enforce data modeling standards (dimensional relational NoSQL) for structured and semi-structured data.
• Lead the integration of data from enterprise systems such as AWS Redshift Salesforce Workday and other platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build real-time streaming and batch processing solutions using tools like Apache Spark Kafka and Airflow.
• Implement data quality frameworks including validation rules anomaly detection and automated testing.
• Establish and maintain metadata management data lineage and master data management practices.
• Ensure compliance with data governance privacy and security standards (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance cost-efficiency and scalability.
• Provide architectural guidance for BI and analytics teams including support for Power BI Quick Sight Tableau and other visualization tools.
• Document architecture decisions data flows and technical standards for internal knowledge sharing and onboarding.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Cloud data platforms (AWS Azure GCP)

ETL / ELT tools (e.g. Glue Talend Informatica dbt Apache NiFi)

ETL Orchestration tools like Step Functions and Lambdas.

Data ingestion frameworks like AppFlow or Kafka.

Big data technologies (e.g. Spark Hadoop)

SQL Python and / or Scala for data processing

Data warehousing and Lakehouse design

Integration with ERP and CRM systems

Data governance and compliance frameworks

Enabling data for data science use cases
