Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Associate – Strategy and Operations ( Fintech ) to support strategic planning and operational efficiency in a fast-growing fintech and mobile money environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to shaping growth strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless execution across key business initiatives. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, finance, partnerships, and technology teams to support decision-making, scale operations, and drive impact in digital financial services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Assist in formulating business strategies based on market research, competitor analysis, and internal performance metrics.

Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and profitability.

Support expansion efforts into new markets and partnerships, including regulatory, market, and risk assessments.

Monitor KPIs and develop dashboards to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

Collaborate with product and tech teams to streamline onboarding, payments, and transaction flows.

Conduct feasibility and impact analysis for new mobile money features, services, and innovations.

Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Support project management activities and ensure the timely execution of strategic initiatives.

Education & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Strong foundational knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, etc.).

1-2 years of experience working in the FinTech industry is highly desirable.

Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to synthesize complex data from financial systems and present findings in a clear and actionable format.
