Investment Team Trainee

Entity : Avendus Finance Private Limited (a sector agnostic platform engaged in Private Credit investing)

Eligibility : Candidate completing one year of Articleship on or before 31st Jan, 2026. First year of Articleship preferably from one of the Big 4s (preference - worked in audit and deal advisory)

Job Responsibilities :

Support towards Due Diligence, Sector Coverage and Business Development

1. Support the team in financial and commercial due diligence of the clients including analysis and interpretation of financial statements including preparing trading and transaction comparable, modeling & valuations and benchmarking for companies

2. Participation with the team in business development activities to reach out to potential clients

3. Support the team in preparing internal documents and memos / pitches for prospective deal situations with strong qualitative and quantitative analysis

4. Creating a well-rounded information base around the select vertical(s) and the businesses that allows the team to identify key trends, drivers, viewpoint on the future trajectory, etc.

5. Comfortable in undertaking multi-source research from databases, analyst coverages, industry and company reports

Deal Execution and portfolio management1. Collateral preparation including detailed financial model, investor

memorandum, valuation materials, data book with analysis and insights.

2. Manage the due diligence process, gradually front end the relationship with the respective client representatives

3. Assist in the overall deal coordination with the senior team in monitoring the portfolio
