Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy & Planning :
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans, set ambitious targets, and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Team Leadership & Development :
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching, training, and motivation to cultivate a strong team culture and drive results.
- Sales Operations Management :
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—ensuring smooth and efficient execution of sales processes.
- Sales Analysis & Reporting :
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze key data, and prepare regular reports and insights for senior leadership to support decision-making.
- Client Relationship Management :
- Establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to support long-term business growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Coordinate closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with broader company objectives.
- Brand Representation :
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms to enhance visibility and establish thought leadership.
- Regulatory Compliance :
- Ensure adherence to sales policies, contractual obligations, and applicable legal and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements :
In-depth knowledge of import-export procedures, documentation, and regulatory compliance in the minerals sector .Proven ability to independently handle communication with suppliers, logistics partners and customers.Strong understanding of FOB / CIF terms and their practical application in trade.Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relationship skills.Willingness to travel as required.Sound judgment in assessing risks involved in sales or procurement transactions.Familiarity with and practical experience in applying the principles of operational excellence .Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.A minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in sales of minerals and chemicals , with a strong track record of leadership and business development.
