Looking for a seasoned Legal Head to lead the legal and compliance function for a leading player in the alco-bev industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the company's legal strategy, governance, and compliance framework across all business verticals.
• Provide legal advice to the CEO and MD on business operations, policies, and regulatory matters.
• Manage and represent the company in litigation, excise, and taxation matters before various authorities and courts.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MoUs, NDAs, supply agreements, and other key documents.
• Ensure compliance with Excise, VAT, GST, and corporate laws relevant to the alco-bev sector.
• Manage and mentor the in-house legal team , providing guidance, performance oversight, and professional development.
• Liaise with government departments, legal counsels, and regulatory bodies to safeguard the company's interests.
• Oversee external legal advisors and manage dispute resolutions efficiently.
• Develop internal legal policies, SOPs, and training modules to strengthen compliance culture across the organization.
